| Native Arkansan Jody Adams has been an artist for as long as she can remember. Born and raised in Springdale, Jody moved to Eureka Springs in 2002. After graduating from high school, she decided to pursue a career as a tattoo artist in lieu of more traditional routes like college. Drawing and painting are her main interests although she also enjoys sculpting and ceramics work. Jody had wanted to be a tattoo artist since her early teens when she realized the versatility and beauty of this art form, and in 2005, got the opportunity to apprentice here at Tattoos Eureka Style. The idea of her hand creating a permanent piece of artwork on someone's body is highly gratifying and she is committed to becoming a high quality tattoo artist. She finds beauty in all styles of tattooing, and prefers to create custom pieces of artwork for her clients to provide a one-of-a-kind tattoo and a unique experience for them. | Joseph has spent the majority of his life traveling and moved to Eureka Springs in 2006 from Portland, Oregon. Like many tattoo artists, Joseph spent years working in other mediums such as pencil, charcoal, and metal sculpture, before learning to apply his artistic talents to the skin. Joseph enjoys all styles of tattooing, but what inspires him most is when a client gives him their idea and the direction they want to go with it and leaves the rest up to him. Joseph believes a tattoo should always be a collaboration between the artist and the client and enjoys being a part of the positive experience that his clients have receiving and wearing their artwork. "Tattoos have profoundly changed my life as both a collector and an artist." Joseph says. "I believe your body is a temple and you should decorate it as such!" |

He first worked with paints in high school, and after that J.D. worked mainly in pencil, pen and ink, and marker until about 1999. At that point, J.D. lived in New York City and was deeply inspired by the great deal of art he was exposed to there. Including an H. R. Giger exhibit, Last Rites tattoo studio, and countless exhibitions, museums, graffiti, and so on. J.D. started painting again, and around 2000, started working with the airbrush. He began to develop a biomechanical style similar to that of Giger. During his time in NY J.D. did art installations and commissioned paintings for clients such as The |
